So you’re trying to plan an online event?

Planning a corporate? Stressed out? Event planning is insanely hard, especially with the inexperienced. Your company’s event is going to take little more than luck. Dont worry. Arty has got you covered. By following these steps closely, you’ll be able to create a picture perfect event.

  1. Theming- Have a favorite movie? Is there talk about a certain piece of pop culture going around the office? A good way to get to know your fellow staff is to get to know their interest. Customizing your event to your staffs interest will not only excite turnout but have a more fun atmosphere.

  2. Budget- Weather your got enough to rent a yatcht or just barely to take the staff out for dollar menu dinners, every event can be worked out if you apply the right attitude. With the advent of amazon, you now have the worlds most inexpensive tool to purchase low cost items that will not only save you money, but time!

  3. Food and fun- its a show! have fun with it! what will you need? lights? music? Think about it like a party with a message. the overall feel of your event should be one of belonging, bringin morale up. Food is always number one. Full bellies means happy staff. Learn to take some of the stress off by hiring reliable and experienced vendors, such as catering, venue arrangements, entertainment, parking, and more! With the internet, its all a click away!

  4. Host- give yourself a chance to enjoy the day of the event by hiring a voice! Planned a lot for the day? Give someone the responsibility of guiding the activities for the day.

  5. Pick eaters- always have to keep allergies in mind. catering is a hard task especially if certain staff have food allergies. Again, get to know your staff.

  6. Send out invitations- You can do this through snail mail or electronic mail, but both together is the best method. You can also use email alerts to ensure that people RSVP in time.

  7. Share the work-remember, you cant do this alone. you’re only one person. having someone at your side will help in dispersing the weight of it all. it always provides checks and balances in case something slips.

  8. Get a GO-FER!-An event runner is a glorified gopher who does everything that needs to be done on the day of the event. You may need more than one even runner if the event in question is large.
