2021..Here we go

So, it begins.

Here we go, 2021. Another year, and another chance for hope. To be better, stronger, and learn from our mistakes. Each year we strive to become someone we feel like we need to be. Another chance at goal we haven’t yet reached.

A brand new start for some. 2021, will hopefully be a brand new start for all of us. These past 9 months I’ve used to reflect on myself. To better myself. To take care of the things I’ve neglected because I was also too busy working. 2021 will be an exercise in discipline.

To take what I have learned about myself in these harsh times, just not as a performer, but as a human being. Taking into account what really is important in life and making that a message in my show. You cant take yourself too seriously.

Life’s too short for that. To never take a moment for granted. 2021 will be a year in just that. To hope for a prosperous 2021 seems naive considering. Thats the idea though, to always hope and strive for the better. We can be better people. We can be better performers. Like 2020, we’ll take some cuts and bruises, but we come out of this with our heads held high knowing the shadow of our former selves is less than the person we are now. To enjoy the moment in every show i do, I promise to make it as exciting and as thrilling as it was when i first saw a magic show. 2021 will be that year. I hope. For all of us.
